Overview
Axis temperature alarm cameras can be used where there is a need for temperature monitoring, such as power generating facilities, fire hazard areas or industrial processes involving self-igniting materials.
AXIS Q2901-EP T Mount is a bullet-style outdoor-ready model specifically designed to be mounted on pan-tilt motors. This allows the camera to cover larger areas. The thermal camera includes a serial port for RS422/ RS485 communication with pan-tilt motors.
The temperature alarm camera delivers thermal imaging in 336×256 resolution. Moreover it supports up to six temperature alarm zones that can be used to trigger an alarm. It is based on temperature changes: either above or below a preset threshold, or temperature increase rate. The camera also offers spot temperature functionality for instant scene spot measurement, and isothermal palettes make it easier to visualize hot spots to identify , i.e. overheated equipment. Isothermal palettes highlights, unlike traditional color palettes, temperature – spans in the image.
Available with two lenses allowing for remote monitoring of critical temperatures at both shorter and longer distances. Installation is made easy and cost effective by using Power over Ethernet ( IEEE 80 2.3af).
