Overview
The Diamond Thunderbolt™ 3 TB3000DS Docking Station allows you to use one single connection from your computer to additional USB peripherals such USB printers, USB external drives, mice and keyboards. It also includes a Gigabit Ethernet port, audio input/output. The Diamond Thunderbolt ™ 3 Docking Station will also charge your laptop/notebook computer at the same time through Thunderbolt 3 interface. True plug and play, with built in drivers you do not need to download or install additional drivers.
The Diamond Thunderbolt Docking Station is also equipped with a HDMI video output up to 4K resolution you can also use the USB Type C port to add another display (USB Type C monitor). With multiple displays you can mirror your primary screen or extend the desktop allowing visibility of more applications at the same time. With enhanced expansion capability and video output function, this Docking Station is the most versatile accessory that also complements your home or office space.
The Diamond TB3000DS Thunderbolt 3 Docking Station can be used in the office or home. If you use your Thunderbolt 3 equipped laptop both at home and the office we suggest you purchase one for each location. Please note that this Docking Station uses a Type C connector but because it is Thunderbolt 3 technology it will not work in your standard USB 3.0 or 3.1 Type C connector port.
Getting to know the Diamond Thunderbolt 3 Docking Station
Looking at the front panel of the Thunderbolt 3 Docking Station, you will see two USB 3.0 ports. The front access ports offer easy accessibility for inserting USB Flash Drives, USB speakers and or USB headsets. You can also use these front access USB ports for charging your mobile devices. In addition, you also have a front access 3.5mm audio jack for communications headsets, audio headsets and speakers. Also included is accessible SD card slot.
Moving to the back panel you will see three additional USB 3.0 ports. We recommend you use these ports for your Mouse, Keyboard, External Hard drives and other devices you won’t need easy quick access to, as you would on the front. Included on the back panel is a wired RJ-45 is a Gigabit Ethernet port, use this to connect to your wired office or home network. This Docking Station also includes two Thunderbolt 3 ports, the one with the charging symbol allows your Docking Station to send and receive data from the PC while charging at the same time. While the other can be used for an additional Thunderbolt 3 4K display. If you do not have a Thunderbolt 3 4K display you can add an optional USB Type C to HDMI/DVI/VGA adapter. Also included is a native HDMI 4K@60Hz port. Lastly, you will see the DC power jack which is more than capable to power your laptop PC or Macbook.
