Overview
Microsemi’s PD-5524G is the ideal PoE solution for deployments that include several products requiring more than 15.4W. It is fully IEEE 802.3af and IEEE802.3at compliant, providing up to 27W per port when powering class 4 PDs. With a 450W power supply, the PD-5524G can enable full power of 15.4W per port or up to 16 ports class 4 PD’s, consuming 25.5W each. Microsemi’s PD5524G also features Energy Efficient PoE (EEPoE). EEPoE provides power one all four pairs of the Ethernet cable, dissipating up to 50% less power than two pair PoE midspans and switches.
