Overview

The Adesso 2-Port PCI 1394b FireWire Card easily converts a motherboard PCI slot into two external IEEE 1394b FireWire slots (2 x 9-pin) allowing all FireWire 800 devices (e.g. digital video camcorders, portable drives) to connect to your computer. This PCI FireWire Card is compatible with both Mac and PC and supports hot-swapping, so you can plug and unplug FireWire peripherals from any port without having to reboot computer. Corel VideoStudio Essentials X4 video editing software (Windows only) is also included with the Adesso 2-Port PCI 1394b FireWire Card to easily capture and edit videos directly from your digital video camcorder.
